Canary Dutch Girl - Saturated Canary/Digi Doodles

Good Morning everyone and welcome to my new followers. Well it finally arrived.... the big 60.  I did manage to squash the idea of a big party, so today I am going out for a family lunch and on Friday we are having a girls night out.
Today's card is for the Passion for Promarkers DT where I chose the theme of 'From Around the World'. This gives you lots of scope as it can be people, scenes, objects, anything just tell us where in the world it's from.
For my card I have used Canary Dutch Girl (with the canary removed) and I used Digi Doodles windmill behind her.

I cut her out and added her to the straight cut windmill. The backing paper was made from a Delft tile I found on the internet which I 'tiled'. I had to chuckle when I looked at the finished card as I realised I had put it on upside down :)  The corners are Marianne Anja  and also the ribbon border. Leaves from Crealies. Flowers WOC and pearls and ribbon from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma Pencils.

The inside does match the front, even down to the upside down tiles.

We are being sponsored this week by Clearly Besotted Stamps  and the lovely Stephanie is offering one lucky winner a 4x6 stamp set called “Going Places” which is very apt for our theme this week!

Don’t forget to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, aqua markers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.
I hope you will pop over and see the fabulous cards the other DT members have created for your inspiration. I can't wait to see what you produce.

Thanks for taking the time to look
I will be back later with the name of the winner of my candy

Nearly got 'top' comment! Happy Birthday sweetie, hope you have a wonderful day, followed by a wonderful night, followed by a wonderful weekend! Can't believe we missed Harrogate, we both really wanted to come and meet you but have no money put aside now (because of Georgia's op!). We must try and arange another time to meet up, just let us know where you are gonna be and we'll try and make it there.
Fantastic card BTW, love everything about it especially that glorious image, Krista's work is just a joy to colour isn't it.
So HAPPY 60th, hope you get everything you want, you really deserve a special day, you are such a lovely lady.
Loads of hugs 'n stuff,
Andy
