Over the Threshold - LOTV - PFP DT

Good morning everyone. Finally I appear again. It wasn't good news at the surgery last week, I have to start on insulin when I get back from my holidays. So that's probably where all my headaches are coming from, high blood sugar levels.  Have to admit I haven't felt much like blogging or making cards, so it's a good job being on a design team makes you have to make them.
For today's card I used  LOTV's Over the Threshold to make a requested card.

I decided to go with a cream card rather than the traditional white. I used an embossing folder I got with the Ebosser to make the background. The image is cut with a SB labels 4 with a faux nestie behind it. This is then mounted onto a Marianne Anja square. The corners, border and sentiment mount are all Fleur De Lis Accents.Flowers from WOC and everything else from my stash.

They are of course coloured with Promarkers and Triamarkers, with distress ink around the edges.

The matt gold mirror card shows a little better on this one and the stickles I added to her petticoat and the flowers.

Onto this week's theme and we have a very special challenge for you this week as it's our 4th Anniversary at PFP.  As it's a special challenge we have a really easy theme for you of "anything goes", although please note we are only accepting a maximum of 3 entries per person for this one challenge only.  To be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (i.e. pro, flex, tria, aqua, metallic or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.  As always we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and our sponsors have been very generous as usual .  Here we go.....

I Won - The Paper Shelter DT

Good morning everyone and welcome to my 3 new followers, so happy and honored that you decided to join.
My apologies to everyone for being missing in action but I have not been on best form.  Headaches most days, I think due to the change in medication. Thankfully I am back at the doctor's on Thursday and hope I will get it sorted out. No energy and no mojo here.
Enough of my moaning, today sees the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter, and one I am sure everyone will love as it's 'Anything goes'.
I used an image that came out a couple of weeks ago called 'I Won', very appropriate for this time of year with the BAFTA's and Oscar's.

Isn't she just a star !  She is cut using SB Timeless Rectangle. The Rennie Macintosh rose is one I bought from ebay about 2 years ago and turned up when I was searching for something else. Its cut from shiny black card and looks like black lacquer. I also used this for the leaves and mount. Flowers from WOC and black pearls and backing paper from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils. I also added glitter to the statue, handbag and her earrings.

The inside does match the front, and this also shows the diamond stickles on the roses.

I do hope you will join in with this weeks challenge where the amazing Veronica and Pedro are again offering $30 of products if you use a TPS image, or 3 images of your choice for any others.

Dont' forget to pop over to see the wonderful cards the other DT girls have made for your inspiration.

Walk the Plank - LOTV - PFP DT

Good morning every one and welcome to my new follower Desire who I am sure is known to most of you.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where the theme chosen by Pinky this week is a nice easy one 'Birthday's'.  We are sponsored by Lily of the Valley.  I decided to use one of the older boy's images while I wait for my new ones to arrive, and that's Walk the Plank.

He is cut with SB grand squares and I kept it really simple. The backing paper is from Nitwits and I added the flag, compass and treasure chest before printing. The map I think was from Delicious Doodles, printed onto white card and coloured with distress markers.  I added bakers twine, and anchor charm and a LOTV mini sentiment. The final touch is card candy.

He is of course coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and a little antique linen distress ink.

The inside does match the front.

I hope you will join us in the challenge where the prize this week is a £10 voucher from Lily of the Valley just in time to spend on their latest releases.

Don't forget you have to use Letraset products, Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers, Aquamarkers or metalics for your entry. Do pop over and see the fabulous cards the other DT girls have made this week.

Fairies 3 - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps

Good afternoon everyone from a sunny North East for a change. I've had fun today playing with one of the new Sylvia Zet images again, this time with 'Fairies 3'. Such a cute image and I've really gone over the top with the embellies :)

She is cut using SB labels 28 and mounted on a Grand labels 1.  The sentiment is from LOTV, Flowers and flower ribbon from WOC. Charm, butterfly and purple spray flower from Live and Love Crafts. Doily from Cheery Lynn (centre of Dutch Deco Frame) Leaves are MB. Ribbon, lace, Button, pearls and gems from my stash. Papers from Nitwits and Cordination used for mounts.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils. I also added distress ink to her background and liberal amounts of Frantage to flowers, butterfly, charm and sentiment.

The inside does reflect the front. I was asked if I decorate all of the inside, but normally only do one side unless it's for a special card.

Gypsy Dance - The Paper Shelter DT

Good morning everyone and welcome to my new follower Sarah who makes beautiful cards. I usually work a half day on Wednesday but today I have the full day off :), working Friday morning to make up for it, but a couple of days of chilling is just what I need.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter where our theme this week is 'Music Maestro!'.  I decided to use one of the older images 'Gypsy Dance' that I have wanted to colour up for a while.

She is cut with a Marianne die. I added a memory box musical notes and some wooden shapes I won a few weeks ago from Crafty Embellies which I have covered in Frantage. The flowers are all from WOC and the ribbon and DP are from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I added distress ink to her background and around the edged of the DP.

The inside does reflect the front

As usual our generous prize from Veronica and Pedro is a Voucher for $30 of images if you use a Paper Shelter image or 3 Digi's of your choice if you use any other image.

Rosetta - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps

Good morning everyone I finally managed to get another card finished. This has been a drag of a week for me I changed my diabetic medication last week (next step the dreaded needle) and I'm really having lots of up's and down's. Sorry I haven't been round to visit, but will be catching up today.
When I saw the new releases from Sylvia Zet I had to have them and so enjoyed colouring this one up. She's 'Rosetta', another of Sylvia's gorgeous faries.

She is cut using SB Grand Decorative Circles one, layered onto a Grand Circle. The LOTV sentiment is mounted onto a Stately Circle and the large butterfly is also a SB. The small one is a Joy Crafts. Flowers, lace, ribbon and pearl string from WOC. Leaves are a MS punch and DP from Nitwits. Everything mounted onto Bazzill basics.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and I added some liquid pearls to the flower stamens. I also added stickles to her wings and distress ink to the edges.

My Frantage embossing powder finally arrived and I added it to the leaves, flowers and butterflies............ love it and can see it being used lots more. I also got to use my Letrajet air brush again as I didn't have the right colour blue rose so inked up  white ones.

The inside does reflect the front.

Thick as Thieves - Sassy Cheryl - PFP DT

Good morning everyone. Hope you have had a good week. Mine was supposed to be a crafting one but ended up being spring cleaning.  I don't know about you but the thing I hate to do most in the world is ironing !!!!  I hate it so much that it gets to the stage where I only iron what I need, that means a lot of ironing builds up (4 sets of bedding for starters)... but I can now say that everything in my house has been washed IRONED and put away. I always feel quite chuffed when I clear it, don't know why I let it build up.  So that's part of why I have been MIA.

On to today's card which is totally different for me. My attempt at CAS. How I had to sit on my hands not to add corners, flowers and pearls to it. :) It's also a different shape, a change from a square, and I used my new toy for the background.  I have searched for months for a Promarker Airbrush and finally found one, so this is my first attempt at airbrushing too. This card is for PFP challenge for which the theme of Animals was chosen by Nat.

She is mounted onto a SB Timeless Rectangle, cut from Bazzil basics.  The dp is from Nitwits and ribbon from my stash

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencisl. I also added Glossy accents to the dogs nose, and for once it does show on the photo.

The inside does reflect the front.

Our sponsor this week is Bearly Mine Designs who are offering a £10 voucher for their amazing papers to the winner.  I hope you will pop over and see the fabulous cards the DT have made for your inspiration this week  Don't forget you have to use Letraset products to colour your images to be eligible to enter

She is cut with a SB square with a faux nestie behind her. The doily is a CL Sophia's Heart. Flowers from WOC. Pearls, corners, ribbon, butterfly and backing paper from my stash. The leaves are also from SB.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils, with a little distress ink around the edges.

The inside reflects the front.

Angelica - Sugar Nellie

Good afternoon everyone, hope you're having a good weekend. This is a card I have been meaning to post all week and finally have time today.
I have used a Sugar Nellie image 'Angelica' I think she is just so cute.

A different colour choice for me but I think she suits it.  She is cut using SB labels 23 with a faux nestie behind her. The DP is First Edition 'Summer Breeze' and I used Bazill basics for the layers. Flowers from WOC and lace pearls and ribbon from my stash. The leaves are my fav MS punch.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma Pencils. I added a little distress ink and some stickles to the butterflies and hairband.

The inside does reflect the front.
